About Pandebono
What is Pandebono?
Pandebono is a traditional Colombian cheese roll with over 100 years of history, born in the Cauca Valley and recognised by TasteAtlas as part of Colombia's rich food heritage. Made with just 5 natural ingredients — cheese, organic tapioca starch, corn flour, eggs and milk — it has a lightly crisp exterior, a soft and pillowy centre, and a gentle savoury cheesiness that is uniquely its own.
What does it taste like?
Imagine a warm, fluffy cheese roll — crispy on the outside, soft and gently chewy inside, with a delicate natural cheesiness throughout. Best enjoyed warm straight from the oven. It pairs beautifully with coffee, honey, jam or just on its own.
Is it like Pão de Queijo (Brazilian cheese bread)? They're cousins but different. Pão de Queijo uses only cassava starch with butter and aged cheese — it's denser and chewier with a stronger flavour. AMARTE Pandebono uses both tapioca and corn starch with fresh mild cheese and no butter or added oils — making it lighter, fluffier and more delicately cheesy.
How many pandebono come in a pack?
Our Classic Pack contains 8 pandebono (400g). Our Mini Pack contains 20 smaller pandebono (250g). We also offer bundles of multiple packs — see our shop for all options.

Air fryer: Preheat to 200°C. Place in basket. Cook for 12–15 minutes, checking halfway.

Do I need to defrost them first?
