I am Martha Mulett, an industrial engineer by profession, a proud Colombian - Caleña at heart. Wife, and mother of two wonderful children. My passion for creating, organizing, and improving processes has merged with my love for Colombian traditions, inspiring me to pursue a dream in London: to share the joy and flavour of our culture through artisanal and healthier products.
At AMARTE ARTISAN BAKES, I combine my technical background with my emotional heritage to offer products crafted with care: gluten-free, made from natural ingredients, and baked with the heartfelt love that defines our homeland.
My dream is that just as we Caleños adore pandebono, the British will also embrace it as part of their most cherished moments.
My Story
I started exploring food as part of my personal health journey, learning about nutrition and the prevalence of ultra-processed foods, especially bread. I realized I wanted to enjoy the flavours I love without compromise.
Having grown up with my favourite Colombian bakes — starting with Pandebono — I thought I could share a little piece of my heritage with the UK community. What began as a passion quickly grew into a business, teaching me more about this delicious, naturally gluten-free treat than I could have imagined.
